My Job Counts Rally

The choice for people with disabilities to work in supported employment is in jeopardy because of proposed actions in the Fair Work Commission. Disability Enterprises nation-wide and their 20,000 employees are under threat by the Wage Tool case being heard in the Fair Work Commission in February 2018.

The Mai-Wel Group and other local Disability Enterprises are holding a 'My Job Counts' Wage Tool Rally to support the employment of people with a disability.

You can show your support and help protect the jobs of workers with a disability by attending this rally in Maitland on Monday 20th November, 2017.

Together we can make our voices heard and ensure the continued viability of organisations like Mai-Wel, Access and Delando here in the Hunter.

We urge all members of the public, families, employees, and politicians to support the My Job Counts campaign and attend this rally.

When: Monday 20th November, 2017

Time: 10:00am - 11:00am

Where: Turner Rest Park (next to Maitland Police Station), Church Street, Maitland
