Gerald's Update - Day Five

06-May-2019

We would very much like to thank Pete and Janet for their hospitality and a delicious home cooked meal last night.

We were up early and left Hampton Park around 6.30am for a quick 47km trip to the station pier where we boarded the Spirit of Tasmania at around 8.00am. It was a good journey but got a bit rough when outside the heads moving into the Strait. While on the boat we sat around most of the day watching TV and passed the sister ship heading to Melbourne. We arrived at Devonport at around 7.30pm and just had to go across the road for our accommodation.

It was a cool day and is here in Devonport.
