Gerald's Update - Day Six

We were up early today and my first thing to do was ring my granddaughter Bonnie to wish her a happy 2nd birthday.

When we hit the road to Launceston it was 4 degrees. We arrived at around 9.30am and parked in the CBD for a coffee, then we took off to Hobart stopping at Epping Forest to refuel and for a bite to eat.

We visited the Tassie Truckies Memorial Wall before continuing on in a cold and strong headwind that made it hard to keep the bike at 70 km/h. We made a stop at Glenorchy for a coffee, then off to our accommodation in Hobart. We arrived at about 3.30pm and had tea at Blue Eye Seafood Restaurant. Thanks to Melissa and Nathan for the meal voucher.

We had an early night after a big day.
