THE TOP TO BOTTOM RIDE - MAY 2019
On the 1st May, Gerald Frogley hit the road on his Honda CBR125 with his sights set on visiting Australia's four most extreme points in just 30 days to raise awareness and funds for The Mai-Wel Group. After covering 12,124km in just 28 days, Gerald and his support crew, Tony and Rod, made it home at around midday on Tuesday, 28th May.
The men visited:
- Mt Kosciusko (NSW), Australia's highest point, on Thursday 2nd May,
- South Cape (Tas), Australia's most southern point, on Tuesday 7th May,
- Lake Eyre (SA), Australia's lowest point, on Monday 13th May, and
- Cape York (QLD), Australia's most northern point, on Wednesday 22nd May.
This was Gerald's third Ride Around Australia, a fundraising initiative he invented in 2015 to give back to Mai-Wel in thanks for the employment opportunities and support provided to his son Stephen who has Autism.
