Volunteers

A variety of opportunities exist at The Mai-Wel Group for volunteers.

• Assist with craft activity, literacy, numeracy groups
• Help with social activities
• Drive 12 seater bus to activities
• Help out in workplaces
• Accompany groups on outings/socials as an extra helper
• Assistant on holiday outings

Volunteers are welcome in all the above areas. Working within the organisation as a volunteer can mean that you help out behind the scenes or you may prefer to work directly with staff and employees in the craft groups, business groups or on social outings.

The Mai-Wel Group have a great group of wonderfully helpful and enthusiastic volunteers, however we would really welcome the addition of anyone who would like to contribute to the organisation in this way.

All staff and volunteers undergo relevant criminal history, apprehended violence orders and prior acceptance onto any program.
