How To Help

Are you looking to make a difference to the lives of people with a disability by volunteering, or maybe you would like to donate or sponsor an event? Mai-Wel has a variety of ways you can get involved and help support those in your community.

Currently Mai-Wel does receive some funding from both State and Federal Governments. This funding provided is targeted to specific individuals and/or programs. Since the inception of Mai-Wel in 1961 the cost of capital works, maintenance of property, equipment and services for people with a disability who are not eligible for funding has created great demands on the organisation. The Mai-Wel Group seeks donations and sponsorship to extend programs and services to address the unmet needs of people with a disability and their families, maintain existing and build new infrastructure.

Support from the community is essential and allows us to address these numerous demands.
