Bequests

The Mai-Wel Group respects the rights of our supporters to make an informed decision when considering a donation or bequest to our organisation.

To assist in your decision making, Mai-Wel is happy to speak with you or your solicitor to provide further information upon request. Should you choose to make a bequest to The Mai-Wel Group, your bequest will fall into two broad areas, as outlined below:

The General Purposes Gift Fund

Funds received into The General Purposes Gift Fund may be used at the discretion of Mai-Wel, to assist and address the specific requirements of the organisation, to promote or advance the lives of people with a disability and assist with the day to day operations of Mai-Wel. Examples include: programs, services, building, infrastructure or maintenance.

The Mai-Wel Endowment Fund

Funds received into The Mai-Wel Endowment Fund will be capital preserved, meaning your gift will live on for generations to come. A copy of “The Endowment Policy of Mai-Wel Limited” is available upon request.
