Craig's fencing his way to his Mustang dream

Before commencing with Mai-Wel LabourForce Solutions (MWLFS), Dungog in January 2017, jobseeker Craig hadn’t worked regularly for approximately 20 years, beyond some casual employment that ceased in 2006.

With the assistance of MWLFS, Craig obtained his NSW White Card to open doors to employment around construction sites across the state.

Soon after, employer Wolf from Rural Fencing made contact with MWLFS requesting a candidate to complete some work with his business. Craig jumped at the opportunity to join Wolf’s team. Since then he has been working with Rural Fencing for mostly five days each week.

Craig now drives a work ute and completes jobs independently from start to completion.

Rural Fencing clients have provided positive feedback about Craig’s workmanship, telling Wolf he is an asset to the business and a reliable, hard worker.

Craig says working with Rural Fencing is really positive and is allowing him to achieve his goal of saving for a new Ford GT Mustang.

“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened,” Craig says.
