Jobseekers ready to RESTART
Mai-Wel LabourForce Solutions (MWLFS) have a range of jobseekers with a variety of skills from different industries, looking for work locally. Industries include administration, courier, gardening and lawn maintenance, hospitality, factory hand and process work.
Jobseekers eligible for RESTART funding are over the age of 50 and looking to return to work after being out of the workforce for a period of time.
Employers may be eligible for a RESTART wage subsidy, a financial incentive of up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) that is available to qualifying businesses that employ eligible jobseekers.
Kyllie Tegg, Service Area Manager for Employment Services at Mai-Wel, believes this initiative is a great incentive to help get motivated mature aged jobseekers back into work.
“Hiring a mature aged jobseeker can be a great investment for any business, bringing many years of experience and knowledge. We have been working with our jobseekers to prepare them to re-enter the workforce and we are excited for the opportunities the incentive will bring."
Businesses are eligible to apply for a RESTART wage subsidy if they have an Australian Business Number, have not previously received a RESTART wage subsidy for the same jobseeker and are not a government agency.
