Life drawing class at The Hub
16-Oct-2017
This life drawing class will allow artists, and any budding drawers, the chance to observe a life model during short and long poses. Artists will be able to develop self-expression,while working on their own interpretation ofthe figure.
Mia is a regular life model for ‘The Drawing Room’; a relaxed drawing boudoir in Newcastle, open to members of the public. Mai-Wel’s Creative Arts offered a life drawing class earlier in the year which proved to be hugely popular. The class featured ‘Marie Antoinette’ Helen Hopcroft, a writer and an artist who is involved in a year long performance living her everyday life dressed in the cumbersome and elegant attire of Marie Antoinette.
The life drawing class will be held from 10:30am – 12:00pm on Thursday 19th October, 2017 at The Hub, Unit 1/555 High Street, Maitland.
Cost of the class is $20 (please bring your own drawing tools, drawing implements such as lap easels will be supplied). Don’t miss out on this unique event.
