Mary's Set to Bowl for Australia!
Her weekly training at Rutherford Super Strike has set her up for success on the competition circuit and she has a swag of medals to show for her hard work, but her past success doesn’t mean she isn’t surprised to be selected to compete on the international level.
“You just don’t think you are going to be picked to bowl for Australia,” says Mary who is one of just 12 bowling competitors selected for the Australian team.
Additional to the experience of competing internationally, Mary is looking forward to doing some site seeing across the city and nearby Dubai with her sister and friends who are making the trip to cheer her on during the competition.
Good luck Mary! With a top score of 146, we think she is well in for a shot at gold!
