Thank you and farewell from departing Mai-Wel CEO, Pennie Kearney
Well the time has come for me to say my final goodbyes to the wonderful friends, families, supporters and sponsors of Mai-Wel.
Since 26th November I have had the pleasure of handing over the role of CEO to Lynne Graham who brings with her a wide range of industry knowledge and skills. I feel confident that she will lead Mai-Wel into a bright and vibrant future.
Lynne is most fortunate because she has inherited a highly passionate and capable Board of Directors, leadership team and staff who will ensure only the best opportunities and outcomes for people with disability and young jobseekers.
I know the future of Mai-Wel is in good hands.
To you, our generous supporters, sponsors, families and friends, I say a big thank you for your kindness and generosity. Since announcing my resignation I have been humbled by the messages of congratulations, support and well wishes. The comments only re-enforce the value and importance of this fabulous organisation to our community. I also value and will hold dear, the recognition so many people across our city and beyond have afforded me personally.
I wish you and your loved ones the peace and joy of a very Merry Christmas and all of my best wishes for 2019.
I look forward to seeing you at one of many events in the future.
