Corinne awarded City of Maitland Service Award
A big congratulations to our Volunteer Coordinator, Corinne Frost, who was awarded a City of Maitland Service Award by Mayor, Loretta Baker at a special presentation ceremony on Tuesday 11th June 2019.
Presented annually, the Maitland City Service Award, recognises a volunteer who has, through their initiative and dedication, made a positive contribution to enhancing the lives of others in Maitland.
There were 6 very worthy nominees in 2019 from a variety of fields including suicide prevention, domestic violence, sporting groups and the historical society to name just a few.
Corinne has been a regular volunteer with The Mai-Wel Group for more than 14 years. In early 2014, Corinne was appointed to the position of Coordinator of Volunteers, a role which she volunteers part of her time to undertake.
Well done Corinne, and thank you for your ongoing contribution to Mai-Wel!
