The Good Guys are teeing up to raise funds!
The Good Guys Kotara, Maitland and Warners Bay will hold their annual Corporate Golf Day on Friday 23rd October, 2015 at Toronto Country Club.
Returning for the third year, the three local Good Guys stores will combine to host a day of golf, auctions, raffles and games all in the name of charity. Funds raised will be allocated to local Disability Service Provider, The Mai-Wel Group, together with Variety Australia and Redhead Surf Life Saving Club.
The Good Guys Warners Bay Store General Manager, Andrew Robertson is thrilled to be supporting such great causes on behalf of the three contributing Good Guys stores; Kotara, Maitland and Warners Bay.
“We are committed to supporting our local community and essential programs, services and projects at a grassroots level. Redhead Surf life Saving Club, Mai-Wel and Variety work tirelessly to deliver support to the community when they need it the most and we’re happy to help them in any way we can,” said Andrew.
Teams of four players will enjoy breakfast before teeing off on the first of 18 holes with their colleagues while vying for great prizes. Hole challenges including ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Longest Drive’ and the ‘Barrel Master’ will provide players with the opportunity to win fantastic prizes kindly donated by local businesses.
The funds donated from The Good Guys Golf Day will be allocated to Mai-Wel’s Creative Arts Program to provide all-inclusive art and performance opportunities for people with a disability or disadvantage in our local community.
The Mai-Wel Group is one of the larger Disability Service Providers in the Lower Hunter Region, providing services and programs to more than 900 clients across nine Local Government Areas.
