Transition to Work Program
Transition to Work is a two year program that assists young people with a disability to develop pre-vocational, social, work and decision making skills and independence to develop the confidence needed to make a successful transition from school.
Clients are assisted to make a smooth transition to the next stage of their development, which could include employment, vocational education and training or higher education.
The Transition To Work Program;
- Is responsive to the needs of people living in rural and remote areas
- Delivers training in a work environment
- Is focused on Employment outcomes
- Builds greater independence and decision making skills

The Transition to Work Program offers a wide variety of activities and training to develop work readiness, employment, independent living and social skills.

Evening Social Activities
Every two months the transition to work program has an evening social night in a variety of locations.
Individual Programs
The Transition to Work team tailors each individual clients needs and wants by:
- Recognising and supporting the cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds of clients
- Assisting with personal care and physical mobility if required
- Reviewing their Individual program regularly to ensure their goal are being worked towards.
