Residential Services

Mai-Wel offers a range of residential services to clients. Our residential homes include a central facility, which offers two separate group homes and five separate homes located in the Maitland area. Residents are accommodated in these facilities according to personal choice and support needs.

The Central Facility – The Lodge

The central facility provides morning, afternoon and overnight support to clients. Additional day time support is provided on weekends, public holidays and other occasions where residents are unable to attend work.

Located at 115a South Street, Telarah, this centre offers modern, attractively decorated shared lounge / common room areas. Each resident enjoys an individual bedroom with shared bathroom facilities. The centre has a spacious common room and a large outdoor area. Residents jointly care for the Mai-Wel pet dog - "Jake".

Group Homes

Three separate homes and a cluster of four units are located throughout the Maitland area which provide accommodation for residents who require a variety of support from drop-in, sleep-over to active night support. The residents in these homes are assisted with meal preparation and day to day residential duties. These homes are modern and comfortable and allow residents the opportunity to live more independently in the community.
