The Respite Centre
The Mai-Wel Respite Service offers short term relief from care of the person with a disability for the family or carer. Mai-Wel Respite Centre Programs are designed for people 18 years and over who have an intellectual disability.
Our Respite Care Programs are carefully designed by staff who are qualified in the training and direct care of people with disabilities. A number of flexible support packages can be organised, according to the individual needs of the clients and their families. The centre has four beautifully furnished modern single bedrooms, staff bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms & lounge room.
The Mai-Wel Respite Centre is not directly funded and therefore carers must apply for funding via a respite brokerage service.
