Creative Arts Program

The Mai-Wel Group’s Creative Arts Program provides an avenue for self-awareness and creative expression through participation and skills development in singing, dancing, drama, performance, arts and craft. 

The Program provides a range of all-inclusive activities aimed at offering creative expressive, exploration, skills development and community participation.

Time:     Exhibition will be open from 10am - 8pm; Presentation and guest speakers from 5pm

In Depth Art Exhibition - Competition

For the chance to have your artwork included in this exhibition or to win some fantastic prizes, we invite you to submit an artwork responding to the theme, 'Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet'. Proudly presented by The Mai-Wel Group and Accessible Arts.

The MOVEMENT - new for 2016!

The MOVEMENT is a musical theatre group for people of all abilities. Meeting at Cessnock Performing Arts Centre, the group is open to all members of the community and explores original and adapted musical theatre pieces through fun, interactive workshops!

Where: ‘The Program Room’

*Fully accessible facility

When: Every second Thursday (commencing 28th April, 2016)

Time: 4:45pm - 5:45pm
