Mai-Wel Disability Enterprises provide a range of employment opportunities for people with a disability.
Mai-Wel manages four businesses that employ more than 110 people with a disability. Diversity of tasks to suit a wide range of career aspirations include Timber Manufacturing, Light Engineering, Printing, e-cycling, Packaging, Promotional Product Manufacture, Rag Cutting, Confidential Document Destruction, Cleaning and Car Washing.
Mai-Wel is committed to providing quality employment to people with a disability. The organisation was one of the first Disability Enterprises in Australia to achieved Quality Assurance Accreditation. Quality Assurance Accreditation has been maintained since 2000.
People with a disability over the age of sixteen years are eligible to apply for employment. Mai-Wel observes non-discriminatory recruitment procedures regarding race, gender, disability, sexual preference, religion, philosophy and cultural background.
Mai-Wel's mission is to develop and deliver creative and responsive services that advance the lives of people with a disability and enable them to realise their individual potential. The goals of the organisation relating to people include:-

There are several ways that an individual may seek supported employment at Mai-Wel. They may ring Mia-Wel direct, can be referred by Centrelink of Placement Employment Agencies. Individuals must be endorsed by Centrelink prior to placement with the service.
