Mai-Wel Australian Disability Enterprises provide a range of employment opportunities for people with a disability.
Mai-Wel manages three businesses that employ more than 110 people with a disability. Diversity of tasks to suit a wide range of career aspirations include timber manufacturing, light engineering, printing, packaging, assembly, promotional product manufacture, rag cutting, confidential document destruction and more.
Mai-Wel is committed to providing quality employment to people with a disability. The organisation was one of the first Disability Enterprises in Australia to achieved Quality Assurance Accreditation. Quality Assurance Accreditation has been maintained since 2000.
People with a disability over the age of sixteen years are eligible to apply for employment. Mai-Wel observes non-discriminatory recruitment procedures regarding race, gender, disability, sexual preference, religion, philosophy and cultural background.
